Porcelain Veneers

A New Smile with Porcelain Veneers

Sometimes, you might have an idea of how you would like your smile to look, but are not exactly sure how to achieve it. Or, you may have more than one complaint about your smile, but do not want to undergo multiple cosmetic dentistry procedures to address them all. With lifelike porcelain veneers, we can create your new smile by addressing several issues at once, preserving your time and the healthy structures of your teeth.

Reinvent Your Smile in an Instant

Porcelain veneers are extremely thin shells of dental ceramic that are fashioned to resemble your natural, healthy teeth. Each shell is hand-crafted according to molds and precise measurements that we take of your teeth and dental ridges. Once they’ve been crafted, Dr. Sayyah can expertly bond the veneers to your teeth, correcting their imperfections to create the smile you desire.

When Porcelain Veneers Are Preferred

Because veneers are designed to replace the front surfaces of marred teeth, they can address a multitude of issues that would otherwise require several different treatments to correct. You may benefit from the cosmetic enhancements if you experience any of a number of different cosmetic blemishes, including (but not limited to);

  • Severely stained or discolored teeth (if teeth whitening isn’t strong enough to brighten them)
  • Chipped and/or worn teeth
  • Teeth with excessive space between them
  • Slightly crooked teeth (unless they are crooked enough to require orthodontic treatment)
  • Too-small, too-large, or misshapen teeth

If porcelain veneers are the optimal choice, we will prepare the appropriate teeth by sculpting a minimal amount of enamel from their front surfaces to accommodate them. Then, we’ll measure your teeth using advanced 3D imaging technology, and create molds to send to a trusted dental laboratory. Using the measurements, a skilled technician will hand-craft your veneers using semi-translucent, tooth-colored porcelain that mimics the unique appearance of your teeth. During a subsequent appointment, we’ll permanently bond the veneers to your teeth for a durable, lifelike cosmetic enhancement.
